1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Laravel. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our invoice management platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using Laravel, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Laravel.
2. Service Description
Laravel provides an automated invoice management platform that:
- Scans your Gmail account for invoice-related emails and attachments
- Processes invoice documents using AI/OCR technology to extract data
- Organizes and categorizes invoices for easy management
- Integrates with Google Drive for backup and storage
- Provides reporting and analytics on your invoice data
- Sends notifications about invoice status and payments
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with or without notice.
3. Account Registration and Security
3.1 Account Creation
To use Laravel, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You may register using your email address or through Google OAuth.
3.2 Account Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the authority to enter into this agreement
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Maintain one account per person or business
3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Using a strong, unique password
4. Google Account Integration
4.1 Authorization
By connecting your Google account, you authorize Laravel to:
- Access Gmail messages that match invoice-related keywords
- Download attachments from invoice-related emails
- Create and manage files in your Google Drive (in a dedicated folder)
- Store OAuth tokens securely for ongoing access
4.2 Revocation
You may revoke Laravel's access to your Google account at any time by:
- Disconnecting the integration from the Laravel Integrations page
- Revoking permissions from your Google Account Permissions page
4.3 Compliance
Our use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data using automated means
- Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service
- Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes
- Share your account with others
6. User Content and Data
6.1 Your Content
You retain all rights to your invoice data and content ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:
- Process and store your invoices
- Use AI/OCR services to extract invoice data
- Display and organize your content within the Service
- Back up your data to prevent loss
6.2 Content Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy and legality of your User Content
- Ensuring you have rights to upload invoices
- Compliance with tax and financial record-keeping laws
- Maintaining backups of important data
6.3 Data Accuracy
While we use advanced AI/OCR technology, extracted invoice data may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted data for accuracy. We are not liable for any errors in automated data extraction.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
Laravel and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Our trademarks, logos, and service marks may not be used without our prior written consent.
8. Fees and Payment
8.1 Subscription Plans
Laravel may offer free and paid subscription plans. Pricing and features are subject to change with notice.
8.2 Billing
For paid plans:
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis
- You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
- No refunds for partial months or unused service
8.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
9. Service Availability and Support
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- That defects will be corrected immediately
- That the Service will meet your specific requirements
- Availability during maintenance windows
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of data
- Security or freedom from viruses
Laravel is a management tool and NOT a substitute for professional financial, tax, or legal advice. Consult with qualified professionals for financial decisions.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LARAVEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Errors in automated data extraction
- Third-party actions or services (Google, etc.)
- Unauthorized access to your account
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Laravel, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your User Content
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the Account Settings page.
13.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Abuse the Service or harm other users
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy. You may download your data before termination.
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@billifly.com to resolve the issue informally.
14.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14.3 Arbitration
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Laravel.
15.2 Amendments
We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified via email or Service notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
15.3 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
15.4 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
15.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights without restriction.
